Can Spirits Interact With Each Other? | Let's Talk About It Right Now | Communication In The Next Realm | Stephens College | Columbia, Missouri | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

Stephens College located in Columbia, Missouri, is a private ladies college and the second oldest of such institutions in the whole of the United States.

This establishment was first called the Columbia Female Academy and first opened its doors on 24th August, 1823. The College remains open today with a humble annual enrolment of just 500 students.

The Drama Department earned massive and international acclaim due to having a very special teacher on board. Chairman, and teacher, Maude Ewing Adams Kiskadden ran the Drama class. Maude was the Broadway actress who played J. M. Barries magical character of Peter Pan in 1905.

Maude was the highest paid, and most popular, actor of her era achieving great success and appealing to a wide and varied audience. Maude also featured in Barries ‘A Kiss For Cinderella’ in 1916 and went on to feature in various Shakespeare presentations.

Maude lived a wonderful life and died at aged 80 in Tannersville, New York.

And Maude haunts this college today.

Throughout the decades, there have been many associated ghost stories which have been passed down through alumni.

Many have said that Maude often manifests to those who are seeking advice and solace during times of need.

All across this aged campus, many have described sudden and unnerving feelings of being watched and monitored by unseen forces.

The Senior Hall is said to be haunted by the restless spirit of a ghost known as Sarah who hanged herself here during the Civil War.

Sarah has been sighted, chatting with Maude, the two of them aimlessly roaming the courtyards once darkness falls.

The fifth floor of Tower Hall was abandoned after a student suicide and a major fire. This room has played host to a whole range of creepy phenomena including threatening shadowy masses, disembodied mumblings and furniture seen inexplicably sliding across entire rooms.

At the Pilsbury Dorm Halls, three female entities, known as The Blue Ladies, are known sing and proceed with aiding students settle into their beds at night.

Lastly, the haunting cries of a baby are often heard emanating hallways. This is believed linked to an incident whereby long ago a newborn baby was locked in a closet here.

It would seem this location truly does harbor spirits tied to its past.

Earlier in the article it was mentioned that two spirits interacted with one another, Maude and Sarah.

I would like to know your thoughts in the comment section below.

Do you think that when our loved ones pass on, they can interact with other spirits?

I know that many of us would like to think that loved ones who have passed may be in communication together in the next realm.

Let’s talk about it right now.
