CEREBRAL ANOXIA

Cerebral Anoxia is a medical condition which causes a depravation of oxygen flowing to the brain. This condition is said to trigger sensory distortions and hallucinations.

It is believed this condition is the physical means by which such phenomena such as near death episodes, also known as 'out of body' experiences, could be explained.

DIAGNOSED ILLNESS

Many who have recently been diagnosed with an illness or medical condition will often report encounters with the paranormal.

The trauma associated with diagnosis often goes hand in hand with stress, sleep depravation and anxiety which, in turn, may induce an altered state of consciousness.

Carbon monoxide is an odorless colorless gas. It this gas leaks within a building or home it can cause individuals to experience episodes of dizziness, shortness of breath, confusion and nausea.

Very often it will induce hallucinations, cognitive failure and a feeling of 'something crawling on the skin' which many have gone on to report as paranormal phenomena and ghostly apparitions.
