Do You Believe In Fairies? | The Dragonfly Entities | The Magical Fairy Stones | Fairy Stone State Park | Patrick County, Virginia | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

Fairy Stone State Park located in Patrick County, Virginia, is a popular public park covering over 4,700 acres.

This park is recognized for its mysterious star shaped ‘fairy’ stones. These stones are a composition of silica, aluminum and iron which bind together to form star shaped formations.

No other location on earth is known for stones near as perfect in star shape and many believe them to hold magical properties.

In 1933 the Civilian Conservation Core was established which allowed for the refining of the natural expanse with further land being donated by the South West Virginia Trust Company.

The park remains open today and offers conference center facilities, cabins, boating and picnic options.

But did you know that its hiking trails are allegedly plagued with supernatural entities and, if you have ever wished to see real fairies, this could be your next day trip location.

Ancient Virginian lore suggests that, long before this area was ever discovered by man, it was inhabited by magical fairies and wood nymphs. They would dance and play, so happily, around the water springs and roam the serene meadow lands.

But, one day, an elfin messenger arrived from the East bringing news of the death of Christ.

Immediately, the fairies began to weep, their tears fell hard upon the earth, and as they fell were magically transformed into small star shaped stones, immortalizing the biblical event for eternity.

It is believed that if you ever find one of these fairy stones, you will be blessed with good fortune always.

Many who have searched for the stones have encountered visible flitting dragonfly like fairy entities. However others have described frightening dark shadow entities lingering the lakes edge.

So could it be true that those who do not believe in magic will never find it?

I suppose there is only one way of finding out.

Do you believe in fairies? Or is it all just folklore?
