The Beattie Mansion in St Joseph, Missouri, is drenched in active hauntings.

This historic home is full of incredible history and paranormal wonder.

Built in 1884 by Armstrong and Eliza Beattie as their residential home which was later used as a Home For The Friendless And Poor. The building was later used as a Memorial Home for the Aged which operated for over one hundred years.

On site work men completing refurbishments have literally walked away from the property, never to return, claiming they could not handle the phenomena here.

They described hearing creepy voices in empty rooms, watched shadow figures slinking from hallway to hallway. These shadow figures were small, waist height, like children.

Many visitors have come face to face with full spectrum apparitions.

The second floor is haunted by the spirit of Eliza Beattie herself but be warned Eliza does not like men and will attempt to negatively effect any male in the same room as her. However, Eliza is not the only entity here.

There is a spectre known as The Tall Man who likes to walk through the kitchens and whistles loudly.

Staff believe there are many child spirits lingering here and paranormal investigators have captured the childrens' eerily laughing voices, and sounds of play, by way of EVP (electronic voice phenomena).

There is one known malevolent spirit, a male, who dwells in the basement.

This dark force has been known to violently charge at the living and won't stop, followed by loud maniacal laughter, almost like a supernatural frenzy. He growls and thrives on fear.

People have witnessed this dark entity face to face and been legitimately traumatized. 

This spirit will terrify even the most hardened investigators and forever change the mind of any skeptic.
