Ghostly ReEnactments Battle Of Brandywine Soldiers Haunt Sandy Hollow Heritage Park | Chester County Pennsylvania | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

This 42 acre parkland may look like a tranquil picnic spot, but Sandy Hollow Heritage Park is known for its hauntings. The site shares its grounds with echoes of Revolutionary war when the site was home to the 1777 Battle of Brandywine between American and British troops. The Hollow is rumoured to be haunted by spirits of hundreds of restless soldiers who took their last breaths here.

Those valiant soldiers were literally laid to rest where they fell and those spectres continue to roam these fields today.

Staff and visitors often hear the shocking sounds of unexplained gunshot, the clashing of metal swords and the galloping of war horse hooves passing by.

Local communities also report similar incidents and even hear praise from visitors regarding the realistic full scale battle ‘re enactments’. But there are no such productions here, no dress ups, no role play, no nothing.

What people are witnessing is very real paranormal phenomena by way of full spectrum apparition and manifestation. And that is just, well, phenomenal.

Picnic anyone?
