Ghosts in the Restaurant! Hauser Lake | Hauser, ID | History | Paranormal | IdaHaunts

This delightfully historic 1800s built restaurant set in a truly magnificent setting, right on the shores of the Hauser Lake, Idaho is said to be the most haunted eatery in the region!

Opening its doors around the time of World War II, the property has been owned by various different owners and undergone many a name change, however its story remains the same.

The restaurant is said to be actively haunted by two spirits, a man who was a previous owner  and a beautiful lady dressed in white, named Maddie who worked for him but was believed to have been murdered here! The current owners were informed that her body was found upstairs.

The lake house was once a working brothel, with Maddie as the piano player but also a 'working' girl which may have had some involvement with her tragic and untimely death.

Apparently it is said that if you ring the bell on the front desk that something bad will befall you. So ring at your own risk you have been warned!

Guests have claimed to hearing moans, voices and even piercing screams believed to be that of unfortunate Maddie.

The owners feel that there is no danger or cause for concern if you hear the noises, simply that the spirits like to be heard by announcing their presence!

With a fantastic reputation for its unrivalled cuisine in addition to it spooktacular history, surely it's worth a visit !
