There have been many reports of the Reagan's experiencing mysterious and unexplained occurrences during their time in the White House.  Ronald Reagan was the 40th President of the United States from 1981-1989.  Reagan had previously been an actor as well as the Governor of California. 

One of the most common stories of the paranormal from President Reagan's time in office was that of the Lincoln Bedroom.  Joan Gage reported on the story of Rex the  President's dog barking at the entrance of the Lincoln Bedroom.  She explained in detail how he told the story at a 1986 State Dinner for the Canadian Prime Minister at the time Brian Mulroney.

President Reagan went on to tell the story of how Rex barked frantically at the door of the Lincoln Bedroom.  What made it more mysterious is that the dog would not set foot in the door way.  

Another story Joan recounted was of Rex standing on his hind legs and barking at the ceiling in their bedroom while the First Couple were watching TV one night.  Rex continued to circle the room barking at the ceiling.  The President thought it may have been a high frequency from the electrical.  He did have his staff look into it.

Another time while the President's daughter and her husband were staying in the Lincoln Bedroom Reagan's Son-in-Law claimed to have seen an apparition by the window peering outside.  Apparently the Lincoln Bedroom was a bit of a hot spot during their tenure.
