Let Me Know Your Favorite Real Life Case File | Ed And Lorraine Warren | Paranormal | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

Ed and Lorraine Warren undertook many investigations.

Let's take a look at some of the most famous cases.

A Haunting In Connecticut

Ed Warren once caught one of the most compelling pieces of poltergeist activity ever captured on camera on which the movie 'A Haunting In Connecticut' is based on.

The family in question were being plagued by paranormal activity and reached out to the Warrens for help.

Ed Warren asked the spirits to show a sign "are you a child? one knock for yes, two knocks for no, give me a sign". They heard an undeniable one knock for yes.

Lorraine says "there was a very old tree right in front of the house there was no wind whatsoever, and the tree randomly broke in half".

The White Lady Of Union Cemetery

This case was in East Connecticut, a graveyard dating back to the 1700s which is rumored to be haunted by a plethora of ghosts, the White Lady being just one of them. The Warrens claim they actually caught this apparition on camera, as well as ghost lights, filling the room. Ed reports hearing a woman audibly weeping.

The Devil Made Me Do It

In 1981 the Warrens were called into testify in the murder trial case of 11 year old David Glatzel. The Warrens, along with Catholic priests, were called to exorcize not one, but over 40, demons from Glatzel.

They did succeed however the demons fled into his older brother, 18 year old Arne Cheyenne Johnson, who was overcome with evil and went on to murder his landlord claiming "the devil made me do it".

Arne had challenged the demonic shouting "take me on and leave the boy alone". And his request was granted. He became possessed by multiple demons.

The Perron Family

This family moved into a home during 1971 but discovered the whole property was infested with spirits. They would see spirits walking through the walls and bodies rising from the ground.

History revealed that many people had died in that home, some had hung themselves, and many had committed suicide in the river behind the home.

The Borley Rectory

This Benedictine time monastry building is the most haunted place in all of England and was erected in Essex, England, during 1362.

A monk had been executed when it was discovered he had an affair with a nun. The nun was bricked, alive, into the walls of the rectory.

A brick from the ruins, which the Warrens took back with them to their occult museum, is reported to be heavily negative and carries a dark malevolent energy relating to this incident. It is believed that the monk, and the nun, haunt the property today.

These incidents inspired the movie The Nun.

Lorraine said "something was hitting me, and he was absolutely hysterical. He said he couldn't breathe". Also detected in the church building was a recording which revealed a female voice shouting "hit him hit him".

The Witch Of Harrisville

This is the house in Rhode Island, Harrisville, which inspired the movie The Conjuring which is allegedly haunted by the spirit of a witch named Bathsheba who cursed the land so that whoever lived here would die.

Lorraine stated "the door opened to the pantry and a young girl who lived there said mommy something really bad happened in there" as well as a voice saying "kill".

The Enfield Poltergiest

An investigation on a supposedly haunted home in Enfield in North London, England, during 1977.

The Warrens claim a lamp was pulled from its socket, the lights went out and they heard screaming voices. The doors began to shake, and furniture moved of its own accord, as well as children in the home seen actively levitating.

This story inspired The Conjuring 2.

The Amityville House

In 1974 Ronald Defoe Junior killed his entire family, four siblings and his parents. He claimed he heard voices which told him to "kill them".

Lorraine Warren claimed that this case haunted her the most. She witnessed slime emanting from the walls, a manifestation of an evil red eyed pig like creature and knives being thrown from walls.

Ed said " when we went into the house we did not realise how bad it truly was. It would rate a 10 out of 10 on demonic infestations".

Annabelle Doll - The Demonically Possessed Doll

The Warrens were called upon to investiagate the strange activity surrounding an old raggedy anne doll which is kept in a glass cabinet. Viewers are advised "do not touch or interact with the doll". Lorraine said "this is the most diabolical, most haunted most evil, item in the Warrens occult musem today. So haunted that the Warrens prayed to St Michael the Archangel before proceeding with investgation.

One man who provoked the doll was said to have died the very same night in a motorcycle traffic accident.

The Smurl Family

The Warrens were called by the Smurl family who were being physically attacked by entities within their home. Their dog was attacked, they saw apparitions floating up the walls. They were attacked and items would be hurled across room and sight dark mass shadows rise up from the flooring.

The Haunted Occult Museum

Lorraine said "this is probably the most haunted location in all of the world, everything in here is haunted. The worst thing in here is that doll, the Annabelle doll. It can harm a lot of people".

Child Gravestones

Small grave sites outside the museum, sites of children who were allegedly used in sacrificial ritual ceremonies.

The Haunted Mirror

This is a conjuring mirror used to call forth spirits and demons. All who look into the mirror suffer severe sleep paralysis and disturbing nightmares.

The Haunted Organ

According to the occult museum this organ starts to play a macabre melody approaching the witching hour of 3am. It is housed at the occult museum today.
