The Shuck Demon of Manchester Cathedral | Manchester England | Paranormal | Historical | United Kingdom | BoiCGH

There are many great ghost stories associated with Manchester Cathedral. The most famous of a man and his sister who was named Fanny who lived many miles away from him. 

Long after all the other churchgoers had gone home, the he knelt down and began to pray then he looked up to see Fanny!

He thought she must have made a special surprise trip to see him. Either that or he was hallucinating.

'Fanny?!' he desperately called out to her smiling, only to watch her smile disappear.

Sadly the next morning friends contacted him to inform him that Fanny had passed away during the night. 

It is believed that Manchester Cathedral is haunted by the 'Legend of The Shuck' which proclaims that the cathedral and its surrounding grounds are haunted by a giant demonic hound. Many believe this entity to be an actual underworld demonic hound which ushers in death and misfortune on all who set eyes on it. 

Could this malevolent entity somehow have been linked with the death of Fanny? 

Many Manchester locals state that the cathedral is certainly subjected to ongoing reports of unexplained paranormal activities such as mysterious mists and strange light anomalies.
