At the very moment this picture was taken the woman who invited us to investigate swore there was a full bodied apparition in the doorway.  As you can see our camera did not capture any evidence of the spirit.  At one point the woman told us the spirit was hiding.  So she proceeded to try and coax it out and make it's presence known to us.  Unfortunately we never got a glimpse of the entity on camera or via audible.  We weren't able to get the spirit to manipulate anything in the room or home for that matter.  The overall feeling of the house was quiet and comforting. 

I bring this image up because so many times we are quick to dismiss the potential real life causes for activity and experiences.  This woman clearly saw something.  And she whole heartedly believed it was there.  There is nothing we can do as paranormal investigators to disprove a personal experience like this.  What we can do is take a logical approach to understanding some reasons for the claim.  In this instance we were made aware that some of the prescription drugs the woman was taking had side effects of hallucinations and disorientation.

I want to be clear Boise City Ghost Hunters will never disqualify a personal experience.  We will never judge someone for that which we are not able to understand.  What we will do is make note of the personal experience.  And use that information to investigate what we can to find tangible evidence to present.  Personal experiences, as extreme as they may be, will always be personal.  There is no way to use a personal experience as evidence to prove something is paranormal.
