Nobody Can Hear Your Screams At the Cavern De La Rock | Cave In Rock Hardin County Illinois | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

In 1729 the first European settlers discovered a phenomenal cave along the banks of the Ohio River, Hardin County, Illinois.

This 55ft wide cave has a truly fascinating historical past and was used by thousands of natives who named the site Cavern de la rock (meaning Cave in Rock).

In 1929 Cave In Rock State Park was officially established and, over the years, the site has become drenched in local folklore.

But you know what they say, there is always a little truth amidst the legend.

This cave gained fame due to the tales of a notoriously dangerous group of bandits led by Samuel Benson who was a known outlaw.

They would lie in wait at the cave, which they used as a secret meeting place for gambling and prostitution.

These gangs would lie in wait and target sailors, they would steal their belongings and beat them to death.

Many struggled for their lives, their desperate scratchings and blood stains still visible on the cave walls today.

Can you imagine what it must have felt like taking your last living breath within these deep dark depths?

Nobody can hear you, nobody is coming to save you.

Boaters and outdoor enthusiasts who have entered the caves today have reported sighting unexplainable blue colored light anomalies not just floating aimlessly, but coming from the cave with definitive energy and directional intent (cognitive).

Could we be witnessing the spirits of those who were once so cruelly trapped here, as they attempt a supernatural 'escape'?

How else can we explain the disturbing screams and moaning sounds emanating from the caverns at night?

What do you think?

Can 'energy' remain trapped deep in the walls where murder has been committed?

Please share your thoughts with me in the comment section below.
