Playground of the Dead at Maple Hill Cemetery | Huntsville Alabama | Paranormal | Haunting | Historical | America | BoiCGH

Established in 1818, Maple Cemetery in Alabama is one of North Americas largest cemeteries.

Situated just next to the cemetery is a heavily forested area eerily known as 'Dead Childrens Playground' believed to be extremely haunted.  A disused old swing set has been seen silently moving at night and many reports of sounds of childrens' loud laughter, voices as if children are playing in the dark. Many light anomalies and orbs have been readily captured on camera.

Could all this phenomena be the spirits of children laid to rest here being exactly what children ought? Mischievous.

It is reported that some local children went missing in 1960. A suspected homicide case was launched and a small childs skull and childs remains were discovered not long after by a local rambler, however the case remains unsolved to this day.

Locals folk state that the park is most paranormally active between the hours of 10pm and 3am so they know to avoid it within that time frame. Also this should, rationally, confirm that the sounds of children so often heard couldn't possibly be human as nobody would have their child out at such late hour.

What do you think? Could this be the missing children trying to communicate today? Please comment below.
