An entire haunted village! Pluckley Village is said to be so continually actively haunted that it was listed as such in The Guinness Book of Records in 1989.

You may recognise some of the scenery of this green picturesque land as it was the filming location for the much loved TV series 'The Darling Buds of May' starring Catherine Zeta Jones. 

One of the most supernatural spots in England, this sleepy village may not be as sleepy as one might think.

There are as many as sixteen spirits, some of which have been encountered by Paranormal teams and visitors alike. These ghosts include a smoking lady, who sits on a bridge, cigarette in hand.

A screaming man, and the swinging body of a hanged headmaster which is very often unfortunately reported by local children who are clearly distressed by it.

The Dering family were Lords of Pluckley Manor from the fifteenth century until World War 1. During the Civil War Lord Dering escaped capture by Cromwells forces when he jumped from an open window, and there have been reports of Lord Dering ghost roaming the streets after dark.
