Demonic Slaughter House Or Music To Your Ears?

Bob Mackeys Music World, in Wilder Kentucky, is known as the most haunted nightclub in the whole of America and has been featured on several televised ghost hunting shows.

Their mantra is ‘Come for ghosts, stay for the music’.

Owner Bobby Mackey, originally a farmhand and railroad worker, opened the business over forty years ago in 1978. Bobby has a passion for music, especially guitar and enjoys singing good old country songs.

The venue is home to a whole array of great antiques which the public also seem to enjoy.

However, what really attracts folks are the rumours of paranormal activity paired with some great live music.

Here are the words printed at their entrance signpost:

MANAGEMENT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE AND CANNOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY ACTIONS OF ANY GHOSTS/SPIRITS ON THESE PREMISES.

I don’t know about you but to me that sounds like a stern warning of something that establishment may be familiar with.

The basement is particularly sinister and was once used as a slaughter house and sacrificial site of by satan worshippers.

Staff truly believe the location to be an active ‘portal to hell’.

Many have suggested the club was home to many murders, suicides and killings. In 1897 two men killed a local lady called Pearl Bryan. Her body was found just two miles away at Fort Thomas, she had been decapitated.

It is alleged that the spirit of Pearl haunts the premises today along with many other entities. Joanna, a lady who was a dancer here who committed suicide when she fell pregnant, is also believed to residually reside here today.

Supernatural activity here is said to be ‘off the scale’. Bobby hosts guided ghost tours today. Once the lights go out and you venture to the basement, you will realise soon enough what all the fuss is about. Many have reported feeling as though they are suffocating, hearing chanting voices as if a satanic procession is taking place around them, and some have been physically pushed down stairs. So proceed with caution.
