I Compel You | Security Guard Falls In Love With Flapper Girl In Red Dress | Waterfront Station | Vancouver, Canada | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | BoiCGH

Can spirits cast spells on the living?

I would love to hear your thoughts below for future discussion.

Waterfront Station, located in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada, is a primary rail transit terminus offering a transcontinental line running through Montreal, Quebec, Ontario and Toronto.

During 1977 the famous Sea Bus began running nearby on a floating pier yet was joined to the terminus by walk way.

Historically the station was constructed under the Canadian Pacific Railway and began operation in August 1914.

In 1979 service at this station was halted and a majority of the building was demolished to make way for installation of escalators and further accessibility accommodations and more modern amenities. The newer Sky Train Line rail service resumed on 11th December, 1985.

The station remains open and is today rumored to harbor the restless souls of travellers of old.  Travellers, tourists and security staff alike have described a whole host of unexplainable phenomena.

One security man encountered a lady wearing a red dress and headpiece who resembled a 1920s flapper girl. This spirit manifested in the flesh, as a living human being. He attempted to question the lady in red. The guard described that she was very giggly, with a beautiful smile, yet disappeared upon his approach.

Ever since the incident, the security guard described that he sort of became besotted with this lady in red, as if he was falling in love with her. He understood those feelings were irrational yet felt uncontrollably compelled as if he was under some sort of spell.

As the weeks went on, he even began experiencing extremely vivid dreams.

He would see her face everywhere he went.

Although not an artist, he had a sudden overwhelming urge to do a painting of her.

So, what do you think, can we be 'compelled' by spirits?

He claims that, as soon as he completed that painting, her spirit ceased haunting him. However, all those who even touched, or picked the art work up, went on to be plagued by nightmares.

Another tale involving dark history at this location tells of a rail worker named Brakeman Clarke was attending to some repairs in the rail yard during 1928. The weather was stormy and he did not hear the oncoming train approach.

He swiftly attempted to flee, but slipped and fell onto the wet tracks and was horrifically decapitated and killed. All in the blink of an eye.

Hundreds of travellers have reported sighting the headless repair man, amidst the station today, wandering aimlessly holding a lantern in one hand.

And now, I compel you to share any thoughs in the comment section below.

Can spirits actually compel us? Just like the living can?

Have you ever felt compelled?
