Spirit of Rage at Griffith Park | California | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

In 1863 wealthy land owner Don Antonia Feliz died during a smallpox pandemic. Don owned Griffith Park, just off Canyon Drive, in California. This park today is said to be haunted by an extremely sinister spirit.

Don had raised his seventeen year old niece Dona Petronilla here and promised her that one day he would leave the park to her so that she could continue his legacy by running the land.

However, Dona became furious upon discovering that after her uncles death she had actually been omitted from his last will and testimony. Subsequently, the land went on to be sold to various landowners.

It is said that Dona, filled with rage, cursed anyone who had dealings with the land and the unsettling thing is, those curses came to fruition. The man who arranged the lands water supply was murdered in a local saloon by a Mexican gang. An industrialist who purchased 4000 acres of the park was continually plagued with demonic attacks through dreams which resulted in him shooting his own wife.

The land is also described as 'stomping ground to murderers' and many bodies have been discarded of here. In 2019 Police were called out to the park when a human head was discovered by two women who were walking their dogs here.

Griffith J Griffith was the last known landowner and he experienced so much unexplained paranormal activity here, including menacing shadows, apparitions which would literally charge at him and piercing screams, that he donated the land to the city.

Continually cursed with bad omen and mysterious phenomena, hikers have reported the full spectrum apparition of Dona herself riding a white horse which appears to violently charge at passers by.

Is this a spirit of rage?

All Dona ever wanted was to own this land.

Did she finally get her own way? Is she now monitoring the park from a supernatural realm?

Let's hope Uncle Don isn't watching.
