Idaho State Reform School & Infirmary, St Anthony, Idaho, is a chilling and extremely popular venue for paranormal investigators and fans alike.

Rooms can actually be booked per night here for around $129 and for those who prefer a more solitude experience, there are three in-house prison cells.

Built in 1921, the school operated for around sixty years, at first intentions were good, it was primarily intended as a safe haven for orphans and runaways.  Yet sadly the children who came here experienced anything but safety. Horribly neglected and abused, many died within these walls.

Just behind the school is a tiny cemetery where the bodies over at least twenty of these children lie.

The spirits here are far from shy and will quite readily make themselves known as they still linger the corridors, with numerous reports of apparitions of past students.

One investigator felt a small cold hand tugging urgently on his jacket on two occasions whilst filming, another heard a low menacing deathly voice shout something inaudibly, maybe unhappy at the teams presence there?

In 2013 a married couple, Doug and Marilyn Olsen, decided to buy the place and use it as their family home as the surrounding rural land seemed the perfect environment to raise children.

Even after hearing about some local children claiming to have actually played with a group of ghost children, undeterred they still went ahead with renovations and updated its decor style, hence it now being available for bookings.

Such a beautiful building yet stained with tragedy. No matter how improved the decor is, The heart of the place is said to be still heavy with loss.
