The Cursed City of Malad | Oneida County, Utah | Paranormal | Historical | Hauntings | IdaHaunts | America | BoiCGH

Malad City, established in 1857 and originally known as Fort Stuart, has been the topic of much speculation for some time now. There always seems some newsworthy unfortunate events. Misfortune? Tragedy? Bad luck?

You can be assured its all happened right here in Oneida, Idaho.  From corporate jet collisions to earthquakes to viral outbreaks. As a result, many believe Malad to be the cursed city.

Malad is one of Idahos oldest cities and known for its prevalent paranormal activity with many describing it as 'the city where the dead walk'. But who are these spirits?

It has been suggested they are the spirits of old fur-trappers who worked the forest roads in the 1800s or overly ambitious explorers who may have succumbed to the elements here.

A Scottish/Canadian man, namely Donald Mackenzie, was one of those furtrappers. Could he still be roaming the river in search of his next fur prey?

Various homes in Malad have experienced substantial levels of paranormal activity such as apparitions, knocking and crackling sounds and electrical power failure.

Is it possible for a particular area or even whole town to become cursed?

What do you think?
