The Ghost Crew of Queen Mary Ship | Long Beach California | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America

This 1937 built 1000ft liner was the proud flagship of Cunards White Star, the royal merchant Queen Mary now located in Long Beach Harbour, California was used originally as war ship and later as a luxury liner and in World War II battled proudly.

With impeccable interior craftmanship and unprecedented engine speeds this liner entertained celebrities and elite for years.

Queen Mary is filled with shadow figures and voices that cry out in the night. John Pedder one the drill crew died in the engine room when a heavy door which he left on a latch came loose slamming shut on him! The door almost tore his body in half killing him on the spot (hence his nickname Half Latch Harry.

His spirit is believed to roam the engine room banging on pipes.

Another spirit said to haunt the cargo area of the ship is that of a young girl called Dana who plays amongst the storage crates. Many visitors claim they have seen the girl mischievously hiding.

A ghost of a young lady in 1930 style bathing suit is seen walking the edge of the pool and even leaves visible water footprints.

Other people believe they have been physically touched whilst staying at the hotel. Many paranormal teams have recorded EVP readings and even captured spirits on camera and heard giggling voices.

The ship however she was later rendered unsafe for voyage and was substantially refurbished and became a permanently docked hotel.

45 deaths took place on board the liner during the war and guests often report to witnessing many paranormal anomalies.

It is believed the spirits of the dead still walk the corridors and decks. One door displays the words DEATH TO ALL WHO ENTER.

Room B340 is the most paranormally active room as a staff member is believed to have been killed here. Hangers fly from wardrobes. Lights switch on and off. Bed covers are pulled. Hundreds of complaints come from this room so much so that management closed it down.
