The Ghost of Russian John at Baker Creek | Sawtooth National Forest | Idaho | Paranormal | Historical | IdaHaunts | BoiCGH

There are rumours that a creek at Sawtooth National Forest may be haunted by a ghost nick named Russian John.

In the early 19th century many immigrants came to this area and it is said John was a mine who also helped work on railroads at the Wood Valley sector.

The park have even named a rangers office area in his honour! Many visitors claim to witnessing the apparition of a fully dressed mine worker with a torch headlamp hat! Apparently the spirit harmlessly passes by as if too busy to stop!

We also found it odd to discover that many guests report their items missing or moved to different areas!

Could wild animals be the culprits? Or a playful ghost?

Some say it is folklore, others believe it is real. What do you think? Dare you visit?
