The Inferno Ghosts Mimic The Living At Old Ammunition Factory | Old Remington Arms Munitions Factory | Bridgeport, Connecticut | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

The Old Remington Arms Munitions Factory in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is a ten storey land tower originally established in 1876 for the production, and storage, of ammunition.

The site was initially called the Bridgeport Production Complex and was managed by the Union Metallic Cartridge Company.

This location spans an impressive 73 acres with the central tower standing over 190ft tall.

However, this site is no stranger to tragedy, witnessing multiple production floor accidents which often resulted in death, souls forever trapped within.

During 1942 amidst a war time push for more ammunition, a violent explosion occurred amidst the work floor resulting in an uncontrollable inferno which blazed throughout the entire plant.

Seven workers died instantly with a further 80 being severely, and some permanently, injured. It is believed these inferno souls haunt the premises today.

All further operation halted and production was ceased. The site was left abandoned for decades yet today is currently under development and expected to reopen offering residential, retail and entertainment opportunities.

Those who have explored this location have reported a whole host of inexplicable phenomena from strange floating orbs of light to dark silhouettes which seemingly mimic the living.

The unsettling putrid aroma of charred burning flesh, terrifying encounters of misty apparitions and piercing disembodied screams carried across the winds throughout dormant buildings, really makes this one of our most haunted locations to date.
