Quote from Angela on November 30, 2020, 12:56 pmIf you were a fan of the 1960s TV hit series The Munsters then this article is for you.
Butch Patrick who played Eddie Munster bought an 1875 build, a stunning Queen Anne Victorian house, in Missouri.
This is NOT the film set but an actual home.
It was his Grandmothers home which he wanted to save from demolition which was scheduled literally weeks later.
In news interviews Patrick stated that he believed the house to be haunted by at least thirteen ghosts and described the home as some sort of supernatural vortex with lots of unusual things going on like things being moved around, voices from empty rooms.
Patrick says that he and his sister used to enter the home and say 'hi' to the ghosts and that several paranormal investigators visited the home. He says that usually the ghosts behaved politely coexisting alongside but that every now and then they would experience 'an unhappy entity'.
In the 1700s a man was murdered here and some say the spirit of his daughter was seen multiple times as if searching for her father. Could she be one the spirits who resided here?
The home was beautifully built with open woodwork spiral staircase, delicately inlaid tiles and five original fireplaces. It came as no surprise that the home was later snatched up and sold to a local family.
We hope they don't mind a few extra guests.
