The Walking Dead at Gwynns Falls Leakin Park | Baltimore Maryland | Paranormal | Historical | Supernatural | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

Gwynns Falls Leakin Park, established in 1908, are two adjoining parks covering a 1,200 acre stretch, located in Baltimore Maryland. These parks are eerily known for being disposal grounds for the deceased and it is said 'the dead still walk here' today.

Since 1946 there have been 80 bodies discarded of here. Many refer to it as Marylands 'open air cemetery'. The unexplained paranormal phenoma experienced here is so frequent the area was awarded the title of 'Americas most haunted parklands'.

Also housed here is an original 1800s cemetery where hundreds of Civil War soldiers were laid to rest.

Paranormal phenomena experienced here includes terrifying shadow figures peering from the surrounding deep foliage, whilst those who frequent the nature trails have witnessed mysterious disembodied voices, screaming sounds, unexplained light orbs and a feeling of sudden imminent terror.

Could this be the spirits of the Civil War soldiers perplexed with the public intrusion? Or could it be the souls whose bodies were so coldly discarded here after being murdered, grieving their disrespectful and callous exit from this world? Surely everyone deserves a certain degree of reverence when passing from this life.

In January 2018 a local hiker discovered a circular hole in the ground, with built up circular sides, similar to a well. Inside the well they discovered the burned body of Vashan Kamal Conyers, a much loved local man.

It is believed that Vashan was dragged through this park from the Franklin Town Road area and thrown coldly into the well. His killer was never found.

The parks are open to the public and popular with outdoor enthusiasts today. Honestly I don't know what's more unsettling, the paranormal activity or the fact that there is still a cold blooded killer on the loose.

Will you be coming here? Just remember to be respectful.
