THE OVERLAND HOTEL, LAS VEGAS

Expect to hear audible bone chilling screams and feel the icy touch of curious spectres hands as they reach out to interact with the living! One visitor claims he was forcibly pushed down to the bed by a dark figure at exactly the same time his hotel room door slammed hard shut. This spectral force held him down for what seemed like forever, before releasing its grip and letting him loose again.

STRAND HOUSE, UNITED KINGDOM

This hotel is literally teaming with supernatural spectres with full spectrum apparitions walking almost every hallway. Guests frequently report the sounds of unexplained footsteps eerily walking around their beds during the still of the night, too frightened to even open their eyes to take a peak!

THE IDANHA HOTEL, IDAHO

This hotel, which is now apartments, has a truly sinister history involving murder. The location is said to be a hotspot for paranormal activity and rooms are reportedly residually haunted by entities which sometimes manifest by way of aggressive scratching and crying sounds, believed to be the spirit of a bellboy who was gunned down here.

It is speculated that the bellboy is seeking his revenge today. The third and fourth floors are home to a malevolent entity rumored to be the spirit of a woman who was murdered in cold blood in the basement. Some tenants have reported seeing the ladys full spectrum apparition wandering the premises and as she passes blood is seen to drip down the walls behind her.

GRAND GALVEZ, TEXAS

This location is known for an entity who enjoys kissing guests on the forehead whilst they sleep, specifically in Room 505. Dark shadows and mist like apparitions linger every corridor and many have encountered difficulty rising from their beds, as if being suppressed by unseen forces.

THE MARSHALL HOTEL, SAVANNAH

Not for the faint hearted! If you’re seriously wanting a glimpse of the paranormal, this place is for you. Here you can expect to encounter the ghost of little girl and a nurse who offers to take your vitals!  Feeling poorly? Just ask for Room 414.

ROSEN INN, ORLANDO

Popular with paranormal investigators. This inn is home to a ghost who likes to play tricks with room keys! Your keys aren’t faulty, it’s just up to the spirits when they work. Invisible entities may sit on beds, you may feel the pressure of the bed or furniture weigh heavily down, leaving clear visible indentation marks where they settle and expect loud bangings on your door as you try to sleep.

HOTEL VILLA CONVENTO, NEW ORLEANS

Room 303 is where the spirit of an old lady is often seen peering down from the windows. Many have visibly watched her just staring down and ran immediately up to the room only to find it empty.

THE KIMBERLEY BOUTIQUE HOTEL, SOUTH AFRICA

Prepare to watch wardrobe doors spontaneously fly open and televisions to turn on during the night! Bedsheets have been forcibly pulled from sleeping guests and feet tugged at.

TULLOCH CASTLE HOTEL, SCOTLAND

This is where the ghost children like to play. Many have felt the tiny hands of children poking, tickling and probing at their arms and legs and even heard their laughter. These children seem to find it entertaining to see the living seemingly frightened or confused.

BATCHELLER MANSION INN, NEW YORK

This 1800s Gilded Age inn is rumored to be haunted by original owner George Batcheller who has been seen roaming the dark corridors, always at 3am. But don’t worry, George isn’t about frightening folks and he has manners, you will hear his footsteps coming towards you before you see him!

FAIRMONT BANFF SPRINGS HOTEL, CANADA

During the 1930s a newly wedded bride fell down the staircase here and tragically died upon hitting the marble flooring below. Guests have reported an unidentified female spectre on personal vacation photographs whilst staying at this hotel. It may be a little creepy that this mysterious lady is wearing a wedding gown.

THE LIZZIE BORDEN HOUSE, MASSACHUSETTES

This location needs no explanation and is renowned for its disturbing EVPs (electronic voice phenomena). Voices have been recorded which seem to shout ‘I’M HERE’ and ‘ITS HIM’. Could the spirits of the past be attempting to tell what really took place here so long ago?

HOTEL MONTELEONE, NEW ORLEANS

If you don’t mind being woken up in the still of the night by voices whispering sweet nothings into your ears, go right ahead and book a room here! One family told how their young daughter asked them who the little girl was who came to play with her in the night was. The child explained how much fun the mysterious visitor was and how they had played games and sang songs all night. Yikes.

HOTEL DEL CORONADO, CALIFORNIA

The ghosts here don’t mind that you are visiting, but they won’t be moved from their usual comforts either. Expect to become aware of the invisible entities going about their business as usual. You may see lights switch on and off, a cushion plump itself up and even see the dial on the heater thermostat be physically manoeuvred.

WAITOMO CAVES HOTEL, NEW ZEALAND

This 100 room hotel is allegedly filled with mysterious light anomalies, some of which dance around the rooms seemingly with cognitive direction. A little boy named Daniel died here and his spirit enjoys playing tricks on guests such as nudging them and hiding belongings. So play nice!

OMNI PARKER HOUSE, BOSTON

Is it a coincidence that hundreds of guests at this hotel have all described the same ghostly woman entering their rooms uninvited at night? This female apparition is often sighted outside Room 1078 and is believed to be the spirit of a lady who died here in 1950. Security staff are often alerted to noise complaints, but the rooms in question are never the ones being occupied!
