In our many years of providing paranormal investigations and research to our community we have been asked multiple times about toilets...  We receive messages asking, Why is the water in my toilet moving?  No one was in the bathroom and there isn't an earthquake...    We can tell you with confidence it is likely not paranormal and you can relax.  

The thing with toilets and all of your plumbing is that they are vented to allow air flow.  The vents help prevent gas and odor to sneak back into your home.  As well as helping the water move through pipes when a sink is drained or a toilet flushed.  That vent can fluctuate in pressure on a windy day.  Causing the toilet bowl water to rise and fall.  Or swish around a bit giving you the illusion that a spirit may be playing with your toilet water.  YUCK!  Either way rest assured your bathroom is not haunted and you can feel free to go about your business.
