What really lies beyond the skies?

Ezekiel Chapter 1 verses 4 and 5

As I looked, behold a stormy wind came from the north with a great cloud, with brightness all around it and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire, as it were gleaming metal. Also came forth living creatures, with human likeness.

The above bible verses are often hailed by UFO enthusiasts as evidence of extraterrestrials, others believe it nothing more than a heavenly vision.

For centuries the debate has continued, the question being ‘if there really is life beyond earth would those entities be malevolent, as depicted in H. G. Wells War Of The Worlds, or benevolent just like in the move E.T.?’

A local C’oeur d’Alene man was out walking his dog and reported five lights floating mysteriously in the sky.

April 9, 2011

An observer spotted an unidentifiable craft which moved at high speeds yet had no audible sound. The craft had three white laser like lights and darted at unnatural speeds across the night skies.

August 24, 2008

A married couple saw what they described as strange looking satellites in the sky, moving in various directions, always returning to their original starting points. 

July 15, 2008

A lady was doing some errands when she noticed a very bright unfamiliar light in the sky. The light moved at high speeds, in a straight line, was unnaturally bright. The lady reported the sighting to the Aviation Center.

February 9, 2006

Some neighbours witnessed low, south bound, lights over C’oeur d’Alene which darted as a bright glowing blaze over neighbourhoods before settling and emanating a warmer red glowing light before disappearing from sight.

July 30, 2004

An onlooker described walking home on a dark summer night and encountering a ball of light, seemingly similar to a star, yet too bright to be a star. The light did what she described as a u turn or curve ball motion and moments later was gone.

April 24, 2002

Three people saw a slow moving object which appeared to morph into a triangular form, and then back to spherical in shape. The shape emitted a white aura, and seemed to vibrate.

What really is going on in the Idaho sky?

Many seem to find something fantastical about looking to the skies in the hopes of sighting something otherworldly, but what really are our foundations for that curiosity?

Is it a part of who we are, a need to keep searching the realms?

Personal claims can never be discounted, and must be treated with sensitivity always. Yet without scientifically sourced evidence, those cannot be claimed as paranormal or extraterrestrial.

There are no right or wrongs in constructive enjoyable discussion.

This is a vast and fascinating topic and I would love to hear your thoughts.
