The Historic Temple Theatre, Saginaw, Michigan was built by the El Khurafeh Shriners way back in 1927 and has some fantastic history.

This majestic theatre has appeared on the big screen in movies such as 'The Muppet Christmas Carol' and 'Miracle on 34th Street'.

There is a network of intricate winding tunnels underground believed to aid in keeping spirits at bay. The theatre is said to be actively haunted and many paranormal teams have investigated here.

There is even a televised film on the place called 'A Haunting On Washington Avenue'.

Jon Block, a previous manager who undertook hundreds of visitor walking tours who is now a Concert Promoter, states that he 'kept secrets about the spirits for many years'. Banging doors, running footsteps and whispering voices are a regular occurrence here.

The ballroom chandeliers will often already be turned on even though he switched them off every evening.

During many stage productions here, strange things have occurred such as stage props disappearing, the piano suddenly play musical notes and visible light anomalies are often seen dancing across the stage.

Staff try to maintain such information within staff quarters so as not to frighten visitors, yet many visitors experience such things for themselves.

There have been multiple reports from visitors of a full body apparition of a gentleman who  frequents a specific seat in the auditorium. Maybe we are not the only ones enjoying a good 'premier'.

There are many old paintings here which were gifted from the Masonic Temple and these are often found removed from the walls and just laying on the floor.
