A Ghost Bride And A Bell Boy | Haunted Fairmount Banff Springs Hotel | Alberta, Canada | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Alberta, Canada, is renowned as one of the worlds most haunted hotels.

Yet, we must consider, that not all spirits are malevolent.

In fact, quite the contrary in many cases.

This 131 year old mansion is located near Banff National Park and rumor has it that there are some guests who will, quite simply, never check out.

There have been multiple deaths here including that of a bellboy and a bride.

However, there is one tale that is particularly tragic.

During the 1930s a newly married couple checked in here. As the bride descended the grande staircase on her way to have her first dance with her new husband, something startled her.

She slipped and fell to her death fatally hitting her head on the marble flooring.

Guests continually report sighting a female apparition, wearing a bridal gown, lingering around the lobby and dining area today.

This entity is known as The Ghost Bride.

Another known spirit who lingers here is that of Sam the bellboy.

Sam McCauley was a Scotsman and Head Bellman here during the 1970s. He was a favorite with guests, warm, fun, helpful and really loved his job.

Staff here say Sam continues to aid visitors today in spirit.

Folks who have been locked out of rooms report their doors mysteriously opening. Jammed faucets mysteriously reactivate, lost keys reappear.

One guest described seeing an apparition which perfectly matched Sams description in life. He was wearing a plaid jacket with white gloves and has also been sighted in the room which was his old admin office on the mezzanine floor.

I guess there are some jobs which are just too good to quit.
