The Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, Florida, first opened its doors in 1927 near Jacksonville Jail and Police Station.

This location gained worldwide notoriety in 1956 when it welcomed the King, Elvis Presley, himself to perform. Many community officials objected to Elvis taking the stage claiming his shows were ‘far too provocative for younger audiences’.

During the 1970s the building suffered some deterioration and finally closed its doors in the 1980s.

However, throughout the years, this theatre has been the site of many strange and unexplainable events.

Staff claim that often the air will be filled with a static energy, literally causing hair to stand on end.

To date, there has been no explanation for this strange phenomena.

Doors slamming cold, electrical disturbance, extreme cold spots and a mist like substance which seems to take the form of a person.

The most unsettling phenomena is undoubtedly the small shadowy entities seen crouching amidst auditorium seats.

Some have even said these shadow figures have been seen to wave at the living before disappearing into mid air.

Who are these mysterious entities?

Are they monitoring us, or simply here to see the King?
