Appleton School in Idaho was one of original four 'compass point' 1920s school districts, accommodating the West educational catchment area.

The site now stands eerily abandoned and is believed to be haunted by spirits of yesteryear. 

The building is filled with original artefacts now frozen in time as it closed the doors for the final time in 1967.

Some claim that if you stand on the stage in the old auditorium room you may catch a glimpse of the paranormal.

Locals claim many unsettling tales of shadow figures peering from windows and unexplained light anomalies surrounding its perimeter. Could this phenomena be the spirits of old scholars residually haunting this property today?
