Wood River Valley is known as hunters paradise.

This is a wild and wonderful wilderness expanse welcomes family, friends, and is the perfect nature escape to make some great memories.

However, on 27th September in 2000, one group of hunting friends reported that, whilst exploring the valley, they encountered an enormous unidentified flying craft, right here in the Idaho woodlands.

One of the friends went to collect an item from his van and it was during these moments that he looked up and sighted the huge craft which he described as ‘metallic and triangular yet slightly rounded, with white corner lights and a central red strobing light, it could have easily filled a football field’.

Terrified, he fell to the ground and called out to the other group members who also witnessed the breathtaking craft.

They went on to describe how it hovered in mid air above them, for several minutes, then slowly moved towards the mountain backdrop stating ‘it moved like a hockey puck, gliding over ice, smooth, unwavering’.

The experience frightened the group so much that they left immediately and stayed at a local hotel rather than camp in the valley as was their original plan.

Upon later investigations of the location, the group discovered that there have been many sightings of crafts reported around the Idaho area, and many had reported the very same craft that they had witnessed, to authorities, on the exact same night as their experience. 

Many witnesses captured the craft on video footage and digital cameras.

The NUFORC (National UFO Reporting Center) was informed about this astonishing account.

Will this once in a lifetime experience, shared between friends, simply be marked as yet another ‘mystery’?
