Dimensional Time Slip at St Lukes Church | Liverpool City Centre | England | Fireside | Paranormal | Historical | Supernatural

Today we bring you a mysterious tale embedded in the past but is still re told in UK newspapers today!

The events are rooted around the Christmas period so pour yourself a hot cocoa and enjoy this fireside feature with family!

St Lukes Church, nicknamed 'the Bombed Out Church' in Liverpool city centre has a truly fascinating history. The church was bombed during the Second World War Blitz and its haunting skeleton still stands today, holding many dark secrets.

The St Lukes Abduction is an event believed to have taken place in December 1991. A local Liverpool family ventured into town in their trusty Volvo estate car to do some late christmas shopping. The Edwards family comprised of Mum, Dad, three sons and one daughter. The festive lights beckoned and they excitedly looked for a parking space.

The youngest child, daughter Abbie who was six years old at the time, asked if they could go to see the giant Christmas tree. They ventured along Church street setting upon the gift shops. Not long after to the familys horror they realised they had lost Abbie. They frantically searched the area running desperately along the icy streets. They finally ended up at St Lukes Church where they could hear Abbies voice crying out 'daddy daddy!'.

Flashlights at the ready they looked in every corner. The voice was emanating from within the church yet they never discovered their precious daughter. Hurriedly they got Police to the scene yet the search was tragically proving futile.

About an hour later they saw a tall ghostly man, unblinking eyes as black as the devils, face stark white, wearing tailcoat and top hat emerge from the church grounds. Beside him was their daughter Abbie. He was tightly holding the her hand.

The little girl upon spotting her family pulled her hand from the mans grasp and ran to her daddy.

The sinister phantom like man whispered "please accept my apology for any distress caused" and turned to flee the scene. My Edwards, understandably, chased after the man but he disappeared into the night.

Police continued searching the inside of the church yet found it to be deserted. One Officer says he heard strange organ music being played.

Abbie told Officers that ablady wearing a long white shawl had dragged her from the street and into the church where she witnessed some sort of ritual mass or service. She described seeing lots of people all dressed in strange black clothes. The girl claims she was terrified but they covered her mouth so her screams would not be heard. Abbie says the tall man told her he had been 'a long time dead'.

A local city centre business man claims he has seen that church fully lit up at night with shadow figures moving about inside. He even describes how the light illuminated the stained glass windows yet the church has been empty for many years.

Buildings are known to absorb the energy of past events. Could these spirits be residually replaying past rituals that may have taken place here? Did they used to kidnap folk off the city streets for with some sinister intentions?

What do you think?

I personally see no reason why a six year old little girl would fabricate such a story.  Did she experience a paranormal time slip?
