This creepy burial ground located in a small unincorporated Kansas town is rumoured to be a portal to hell itself.

Ever since the mid 1970s the area has been infamous for an apocryphal legend which claims the Cemetery is 'under the tight grip of malevolent demonic forces'.

The small town of Stull just outside of Lawrence and Topeka, was established in 1857 and was originally named Deer Creek, later renamed after founder Sylvester Stull. The first settlers here actually spoke German as their native language.

Many came over from Pennsylvanian Dutch County during escape from German Confederation laws. There are only a handful of the original buildings remaining today including a fire depot and church.

In 1867 a handful of families set up a stone church building and called it Deer Creek Church. Before this building was erected the families had regularly met at each others home to conduct congregational services.

Today, this church still stands, looking right out of a gothic horror flick overlooking the graves. It has been suggested this area has been used by satan worshippers who held occult rituals and even performed sacrifices here.

It has been believed that during these rituals a supernatural portal was opened, allowing the entry of demonic legions. Many have said 'the Devil himself walks this site twice every year'.

You may not want to be around when that happens.

This land is privately owned and trespassers will be prosecuted. Unfortunately, being marked as inaccessible actually had the opposite effect and hundreds of curious paranormal enthusiasts, including teens, regularly skirt the perimeters in the hopes of catching a glimpse of Satan himself.

But be warned, spiritual forces are VERY real. Demonic entities are not something to play with. They can severely manipulate, and are capable of readily overwhelming their surroundings.

There aren't many locations we would advise against checking out. However, this is one. Do not come here.
