Fatal Hit and Run Ghost at Haunted Rookies Corner Bar | Sitka Alaska | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH
Quote from Angela on March 11, 2021, 3:29 pmSituated deep in the south east Alaskan wilderness is the 'Rookies Corner' sports bar at Sitka town. Welcome to Alaskas most haunted bar!
Originally known as 'The Kiksaadi Corner'. During the late 1800s a lady was drunk in the bar and exited the building, she walked straight into the path of an oncoming truck. The truck driver had also been drinking. His attempts to avoid hitting the woman failed tragically. The lady died shortly afterwards.
Horrifically, she lay on the ground for some time, suffering tremendously until, with one final anguished scream, she succumbed to her fatal injuries.
Ever since those events, staff claim they often hear unexplained, and disturbingly traumatic, disembodied voices as if crying out in pain. Locals and guests constantly report sightings of a ghostly female apparition who appears to run in and out of traffic at the very spot she died. It is said that this apparition appears, especially clearly, to drivers who have been drinking, and many drivers have been known to pull over, visibly shaken and in shock at the sight of her!
Could this spirit actually be trying to help save lives, not wanting anyone else to suffer the same fate she did?
What do you think? Is this a ghostly warning?
It goes without saying, whatever your circumstances, NEVER drink and drive.
