Get Involved In Our Discussion | The Dangers Of Ouija Boards | Dana-Thomas House | Springfield Illinois | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

The Dana-Thomas House in Springfield, Illinois, is located off East Lawrence Avenue and was originally designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright, famous for his organic and Japanese building styles.

Supernatural activity is regularly encountered here, staff believe these eery unexplained events are all tied to Susan Lawrence Dana, a member of Springfields Elite who moved into the home during 1904. Susan rapidly climbed the social ladder and delved deeply into the study of the occult and spiritualism.

She held many seances and rituals within the home, and later died here in 1944.

This once peaceful historic, prairie-style mansion, was never the same again. It was said that the whole energy of the place switched up.

Full spectrum apparitions walking about the property, whispering voices, humming and whistling sounds emanating from empty room, objects seen spontaneously levitating are all phenomena witnessed at this location.

Did Susan allow dark forces to enter this home supernaturally?

           LET’S DISCUSS THINGS….

I would like anyone who has ever taken part in a séance, used a Ouija board, to let me know about that experience in the comment section below.

The terrifying thing about seances and Ouija board rituals is that you never know which spirits will come through. And they WILL come through, whether invited or not. Once a path of entrance is established, you become dangerously vulnerable.

Many think it a harmless game, fun with friends, or believe it a genuine effort to contact a recently deceased family member, but you could invite a dangerous malevolent entity in who holds the power to cause chaos and devastation in your life.

Loud clapping sounds, eery voices calling out for help, and even the spirit of Susan herself all dressed in black has been sighted roaming these premises.

In 1981 the home was purchased by the State of Illinois and remains open to the public today hosting a range of events including touring options.

Many visitors, even those unaware of the locations haunted history, described feeling immediately unwell, anxious and fearful upon entering the building.
