Imber Village is a small uninhabited town located on the Salisbury plains of Wiltshire England. The town dates back to early Saxon days, with ancient trackways still visible, and is today used by the British Army as a military training ground.

The land remains under the control of The Ministry Of Defence with strictly limited access.

In 1943, in preparation for the Allied invasions of mainland Europe, the population of Imber was given just 47 days to evacuate. The land was required for military training which meant demolishing many structures and erecting training props throughout.

Although tightly secured by military, Imber village is open for public visitation on specified days throughout the year.

The town is renowned for its supernatural activity with several security guards refusing to re enter Imber after witnessing continual terrifying unexplained phenomena.

One guard reports going to close a shutter on a window when he heard an angry female voice shout “What gives you the right?”.

Also encountered is the spirit of Albert Nash, the old village Blacksmith. It is alleged that Albert died of a broken heart when he was asked to evacuate and leave his precious store behind. His full spectrum apparition is often seen gazing from the stores windows accompanied by the metal clanking sounds of him working through the long nights.

Others describe chilling tales detailing shadowy figures darting the streets and an unsettling feeling of being monitored by unseen eyes.
