Hiker Comes Face To Face With Ghostly State Trooper | The Holy Ghost Campground | Tererro, New Mexico | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

The Holy Ghost Campground in Tererro, New Mexico, is located on the edge of the Pecos wilderness.

Native tribes inhabited this land from as early as 7000 bce onwards, with colonisation being established in 1598 under Spain, preceding the Mexican/American war of 1846.

From 1875 European immigrants began settling in the area and the Sante Fe National Forest was established by the US forest service in 1915.

Shortly after, the area surrounding the Holy Ghost Creek became a popular camping destination offering fishing holes, picnic areas and hiking trails.

The site is known for its frequent paranormal sightings and creepy after dark phenomena, activity is said to span between the campground and surrounding forests.

Park goers frequently report shadowy silhouettes peering from behind forest trees and otherworldly mysterious floating lights in the night skies.

The sounds of an eerie guitar strumming is often audibly heard drifting across the site and, immediately after this phenomena occurs, electronics such as cell phones and flash lights will suddenly drain of power.

Could this be linked with the paranormal?

Are the spirits here be drawing on available energy sources in order to manifest their very own powers at this location today?

What do you think?

Often sighted is a full spectrum apparition of a Priest, believed to have been killed by early Peco tribes, audibly heard mumbling lengthy prayers and blessings.

One visitor was so shocked that he swore never return again after coming face to face with a ghostly State Trooper, who proceeded to interact and engage in a very real conversation with him.

But perhaps even more terrifying than the ghost sightings are the very real, unsolved, disappearances of individuals going missing from this location every single year.
