Well readers you are in for a treat tonight!

I hope you can keep up because you are in for one heck of a ride.

This is THE scariest most disturbing movie I have seen in a long time and was nominated as the best movie of 2018.

Created by French Screenwriter, Pascal Laugier, who is known as one of the most influential filmmakers of the twenty first century. Laugier is known for his intense plot and also brought us The Tall Man (2012) and Martyrs (2008) which was voted one of the most brutal, yet iconic, movies of all time.

This is a psychological horror film.

A mother and her two daughters are headed to a remote home in the woods.

Surrounded by creepy antiques.

And then the unthinkable happens.

A knock at the door.

Two violent intruders.

The nightmare begins.

Scenes in this film made me literally freeze in my seat, mouth open shock like what just happened.

Fantastic camera work, a lot of long shot work, tracking backwards, and lots of background content.

The light sourcing and set design was really original and highly praised worldwide.

Anyone afraid of spooky dolls?

Because there are plenty here, yikes, terrifying.

POINT OF INTEREST

Young actress Taylor Hickson sustained a really severe facial injury when she crashed through a glass door whilst filming on set. She later sued the production company.
