Los Angeles City Hall located in Californias bustling civic district was constructed in 1926, replacing its original 1808 site which was demolished.

This is the tallest building in the City of Los Angeles standing at 454 feet tall.

In 1996 the building was designated as an official cultural historical monument housing the office of the Mayor.

The building has been used in many iconic televised productions including The Adventures Of Superman (1970), L.A. Confidential (1997) and Gangster Squad (2013).

But did you know that this location was once a morgue?

It is suggested these halls are actively haunted by those restless souls who may have been unclaimed at the morgue, left in the cold lonely grasp of eternity.

Night security staff report floors 2, 3, 4, 27 and 28 to be actively haunted and have confessed to feeling genuinely terrified whilst on duty on those floors due to elevating levels of phenomena.

Security cameras have captured flashing orbs, dark silhouettes and doors spontaneously opening and closing shut. It comes as no surprise that so many folks describe the sensation of being followed and watched by unseen forces.

Electrical disturbance, echoing footsteps in empty corridors and full spectrum walking apparitions are all frequently experienced here. Be sure to take extra batteries.

Visitors have reported a ghostly male figure who appears as a homeless/poor man and has even been known to disturb counsel meetings, and roam the restroom and lobby area and will communicate readily with the living. 

This entity would be classified as an INTELLIGENT (HUMAN) haunting, acknowledging immediate surroundings.

For anyone interested in visiting, there is an Observation Deck on the 27th floor which is free to the public.
