Is This Highway Witch Still Casting Her Deadly Spells? | Highway 101 | Prunedale, California | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

Highway 101 Prunedale California is a scenic West Coast drive which acts as a primary means across the state.

However, this location hosts some truly macabre history.

In 1894 the Prunedale Post Office was established under authority of Charles Langley who was a successful banker from Watsonville and one of the towns original settlers.

In 1931, the community welcomed the construction of Highway 101.

During the late 1990s the speed limit on the highway was significantly reduced to 55mph due to high incidents of fatal road traffic accidents.

During the 2000s, the segment welcomed the addition of the San Miguel Canyon overpass.

In recent years the zone speed limit was eventually raised again as vehicle incidents reduced. Yet this location is chillingly marred with supernatural activity believed linked with so many road traffic deaths and subsquent loss of life.

The most famous tale surrounding this stretch is the patch of roadside trees believed cursed by the ancient spirit of an evil and powerful witch. Ghostly little children with bloodied sockets, where their eyes once were, are seen playing all around the trees. These are speculated as being the innocent little victims of the deplorable witch.

Often encountered by pedestrians are strange segments of floating mists and audible disembodied screams.

A phantom hitchhiker roams this highway and many have physically stopped their vehicles to aid the man. After readily interacting with what folks believe to be a human being, the hitchhiker disappears before their very eyes.

Witnessing such unpredictable phenomena, on such a busy highway, certainly poses risk of shock and induced panic which in turn would diminish alertness and road safety.

Really makes you wonder what really caused so many fatalities here after all.

Could that evil witch still be casting her evil spells even today? Relishing in the ensuing chaos?

As always, proceed with caution.
