Aagaard Road is a historical road located in the sleepy, unincorporated, community of Gales Creek, Oregon, which was founded in 1839 by Pioneer Joseph Gale who established a saw mill business.

During 1881 Olaf Aagaard launched the Aagaard Lumber Company near the local town of Glenwood. The company rapidly expanded using the nearby Gales Creek railway route which was later renamed as the Aagaard Railroad. 

Gales Creek is known for its supernatural sightings and creepy phenomena including the apparition of a little spectral boy, known as Joey, often sighted between 2 and 5am just outside the nearby swimming pool. 

The boys is crying, his skin appears blue hued in color, he stands shivering, dripping water and is heard to audibly shout out ‘momma!’ before dissipating as a mist.

Other entities known to reside her are 'the lovers' a couple believed to have once lived in a cabin here which now sits vacant and abandoned along the highway side of the creek.

The male is known as Laslo, and he is frequently encountered, dressed in flannels, smoking a pipe, casually walking up and down Aagaard Road.

Moments later, his girlfriend appears, impatiently tapping her foot with arms crossed, as if waiting for him to return home. 

Maybe spirits aren't so different to the living after all ha.

Passers by have reported phantom smoke emanating from the chimney of the empty cabin with no natural explanation.

Could folks be witnessing the residual pipe smoke Laslo so enjoyed in life?

Being watched by unseen eyes, light anomalies seen floating with cognition (directional intent) and otherworldly creepy sounds coming from the surrounding forest.

Would you be brave enough to walk Aagaard Road after dark?
