This movie won the Horror Hotel 2019 Film Award and the Crypticon Seattle Horror Film Festival Award 2019.

“One of the best horror films to release in many years” – Morbidly Beautiful.

This film is a favorite with adults an children alike and has been recommended as a great intro horror starter film for kids.

The story captures a whimsical element, but don’t be fooled as this film has some truly dark material.

In the movie industry there is an enormous market for 80s adolescent/horror, think The Goonies, E.T., Stranger Things, etc, productions which capture that magic of innocent children who are suddenly catapulted into something deeper.

This film captures that nostalgic vibe, and has been compared to the film The Summer of 84 (2018).

The story opens with nine year old Eli who draws an illustration at his school of a monster he calls the EVIL who lives in his basement. Eli says this creature is trying to steal his soul every night.

Of course, this alerts his peers and sets the story in motion.

An extremely polished film from a cinematography aspect.

Beautiful purposeful shots which create solid tension build.

Effect wise, no gore but a very cool solid payoff, in an otherworldy aspect, we won't give to much away but there are some really terrifying moments.

Great progression, and satisfying conclusion.

Brilliant performances, from cool parents, and kids who transport you right back to your childhood.
