One of Idahos spookiest hotels!

This wonderfully historical hotel and museum located in Soda Springs, Idaho, was built in 1917 and renowned for its traditional architectural elegance. You may consider the building resembles a mall rather than a hotel, this is because it was originally utilised as office blocks housing various businesses. From the 1930s the place began operating as a hotel.

The second floor houses the Museum section which displays some amazing original pieces such as furniture, guns and clothing from the 1900s Frontier era.

However, The Enders Hotel is also known for something else. Many claim that this hotel is one of Idahos creepiest locations and is believed to be actively haunted. Idahoans have referred to the hotel as 'the Gems most haunted place'.

Guests often report unexplained phenomena whilst walking the Museum section, describing 'a strange and frightening presence' which seems to literally follow them around. Staff have considered that it may be spirits of old simply 'watching over' their own belongings. So be respectful during visits!

Staff have stated that many spirits are believed to haunt the place, the ghosts of past employees and owners who met their untimely deaths here. Visitors often describe an 'intense energy' about the place.

It is believed a man was shot in the hotels bar area, and another fell down the main staircase, both died here.

So could this 'energy' in fact be resulting from residual hauntings?

A residual haunting is when a spirit will stay at the place where trauma was suffered. The entity remains emotionally connected and will linger there, continually replaying their last moments of life.

Sometimes spirits will generate enough energy to physically manifest and physically present themselves as a full spectrum apparition. They will often utilise power from electrical sources so keep an eye on your phones and cameras!
