Hidden In The Shadows | Silhouette Spirits Avoid Detection At The Rosson House Museum | Pheonix Arizona | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

The Rosson House Museum, in Phoenix Arizona, is a historic home turned museum. The building was constructed in 1895 and initially occupied Dr Roland Rosson and his family.

In 1897 the family sold their home to Aaron and Carrie Goldberg family, a Jewish entrepreneur politician family. The Goldbergs went on to sell the home to Stephen W Higleys who was a railroad worker who went on to become part of Arizonas Republican Newspaper. The Higleys later sold to the Gammel family who operated the building as a boarding school house until 1948.

Mr Gammel was a known gambler and owner of the Capitol Saloon. Shortly after the Gammels moved in that the Prohibition began.

The property changed hands multiple times before falling into a state of disrepair and abandonment.

In 1974 the site was sold to the city of Phoenix who fully restored the building and opened it as The Rosson House Museum, a constant reminder of Arizonas Victorian era.

But did you know that this popular venue is believed actively haunted by its past inhabitants?

During the 1980s a previous caretaker was murdered at this location, many have described his entity to fully manifest and visibly roam the area, much to the shock of onlookers.

Staff today report doors locking/unlocking of their own accord and fast moving silhouettes which appear to dart ominously out of sight.

Could there spirits here who wish to avoid detection?

Also encountered are the creepy unexplained sounds of somebody shuffling around in dark corners and fireplaces seen to visibly ignite unaided.

The museum is one of Phoenixs' most spectacular architectural wonders, being an original Queen Anne Victorian construction. The buildings silhouette is often described as 'the perfect haunted house aesthetic' and has been requested for use on book covers and televised series.

The museum is open today and is available for guided tours.
