OSF St Francis Medical Center is located in Peoria, Illinois, and is the largest hospital in the entire metro. The centre is utilized by the University of Illinois' College of Medicine as a teaching hospital.

Historically, in 1877, a group of Franciscan Sister nuns who formed an independant religious order known as The Sisters of The Third Order of St Francis.

The Sisters treated patients there under adult and pediatric care sectors. The Hospital remains under the charge of The Sisters of The Third Order of St Francis even today.

In 2007 the site was majorly renovated and expanded and is the top organ recovery hospital in Illinois today.

There are many tales of paranormal encounters at this location.

Staff and patients have reported a wide range of phenomena here including visually sighting full spectrum apparitions of doctors, nurses and patients walking corridors like repeated echoes through time.

Many have described ghostly nuns, gently sitting at the foot of patients beds, as if ministering to the sick, just like angels.

We know that the very nature of nuns is to show compassion and grace.

Are these Sisters supernaturally tending to the sick and injured from beyond the realms today?
