The Blood Soaked Trail Of Tears | The Supernatural Scars Of Kennesaw | The Kennesaw Mountain National Civil War Battlefiled Park | Kennesaw, Georgia | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

'What a gift it is, each and every day, to discover hidden gems of history, scattered around our world' - Angela Jane.

'History dies without the present. There is no future without the path made to it by the past' - Aiden Chambers.

The Kennesaw Mountain National Civil War Battlefield Park located in Kennesaw, Georgia, is a preserved battlefield expanse which played a significant role in some of Georgias most brutal conflicts.

Historically, from 900 to 1700 bce, the native Moundbuilder (pre Columbian) tribes inhabited the land.

Their descendants, known as the Creek People, were pushed out of their very own territory by the Cherokees.

During the 19th century Georgia Gold Rush the Cherokees were, in turn, exiled on the Trail of Tears which was an acquisition of native American land along the Mississippi River, involving the active and forceful displacement of five specific Indian tribes.

From June 18th to July 2nd of 1864 the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain was fought here with over 100,000 warriors.

In 1933, the land was transferred to the Georgia War Department who designated it as a National Historical Battlefield Park. Today it offers a museum and educationally interpretative visitor center.

Unsurprisingly, there have been many reports of mysterious and unexplainable activity experience at this location today.

Visitors have described a nausea inducing aroma of charred flesh, blood and smoke accompanied by the unsettling sudden audible booms of cannon fire.

The most frightening incidents involve the disturbing apparition of a war torn Union Cavalry Officer, drenched in blood presenting various horrific war injuries, staring intentionally, and angrily, at the living.

Items levitating, intense feelings of being followed and sudden gusts of icy winds.

Do the spirits of the deceased still roam at this notable landmark?

Are visitors today witnessing the supernatural scars of the past?

What do you think, could these be territorial ghosts?

Because you and I know that those spirits do not see a museum, or a visitor center, they see their home.
