Did you know there is one haunted attraction in Idahos very own Magic Valley that is genuinely haunted?

The charming town of Albion near Cassia County is home to Albion Campus Retreat also known as 'The Haunted Mansions of Albion'. Thousands visit the venue every October.

But rumour has it that this site is actively haunted ALL year long by supernatural entities, not just at Halloween and NOT by props or actors.

In 2006 Troy and Heather Mortensen purchased the property and set about restoring this fascinating historical school campus which is now a flourishing business. The building operates as a delightful retreat all year long with functions such as family weddings and family reunions due to it accommodating large groups of up to 75 persons.

But once Halloween is on the horizon the lights are dimmed and the place doubles as a  spooky haunt attraction.

The Mortensens state that there have been many reports of visitors claiming to encounter genuine spectral entities.

Supernatural phenomena encountered here has included seeing sinister red eyes peering from dark corners, full body apparitions and menacing voices! Some believe these to be the spirits of the house moms who used to patrol the dorms at night when it was used as a college.

Others claim to hearing shocking unexplained growling sounds and seeing spirits of children staring curiously through windows which look out onto the courtyards.

Some staff refuse to work in certain areas due to feeling a strong uncomfortable presence.
