Well the ghost children at the Allen House are certainly NOT those kind of entities. 

These tiny spirits will readily approach the living.

The Allen House in Monticello, Arkansas, was built in 1906 for the Allen family and is known to be Americas most haunted home.

Paranormal investigators have determined that at least six spirits reside at the home with the main one being the Allen family daughter, Lidelle, who committed suicide by ingesting cianide, on Christmas night in 1948 at this home, when her secret love affair deteriorated.

However, the secret love affair was not fully revealed until current owner, Mark Spencer, discovered bundles of love letters in the homes attic.

Mr Spencer claims he had a supernatural encounter in the attic with who he believes to be Lidelle. He described a full spectrum apparition in a 1920s style dress. The apparition approached him and he states he felt extremely frightened.

Moments later Mr Spencers wife began walking up the attic stairs, and entered the room, just then the apparition vanished.

On a separate occasion Mr Spencer says that he saw the same female apparition gazing out of the master bedroom window, this is the very room where Lidell committed suicide.

Initially, Mr. Spencer simply presumed it was his own wife gazing out of the window and thought it strange that the drapes were closed yet she still stood there almost in a trance like state.

He attempted to interact with the entity but she disappeared before he had a chance to do so.

Various people who have lived in the house, and many guests, have told the Spencers of their encounters with small ghostly entities. These spirit children are seen casually playing about the premises.

Childrens voices have been captured many times via audible EVP (electronic voice phenomena) recordings and many have captured photographs exhibiting the images of the young spectres.

Many have had personal experiences with these ghostly children. They are not shy but will readily approach the living and in 2010, that is exactly what happened to Mr Spencers wife, Rebecca Spencer.

Rebecca actually came face to face with one of these ghostly children.

Here is how she described the experience…

“Looking at the child wasn’t scary, what was scary was my reaction, I couldn’t breathe or blink, so I just stood in awe looking at it”.

Mrs Spencer told how the record player spontaneously activates.

Could this be the spirit of Mrs Spencers mother who loved to play this record player for guests when she lived here?
