Welcome to Portland, Oregon.

Forest Grove was once farmlands inhabited by the Kalapuya Tribes native to the Willamette Valley.

During the 1840s Europeans began settling in the area and the town was named Forest Grove, taking its name from surrounding great oak trees. This location survived the Great Depression.

The most famous ghost story surrounding this sleepy Grove is that of a ghostly lumberjack said to roam the forests at night, killing anyone or anything that steps in his way.

Many believe this malevolent entity to actually be linked to local murders.

Outdoor enthusiasts report hearing otherworldly sounds, unexplained rustlings and sighting strange dancing light anomalies.

A feeling of dread and a very real state of fear both are often induced at this location.

In 2006 locals reported mechanical like screams throughout the neighbourhoods which seemed to be emanating from the Grove itself.

Pets were ajitated, children upset and parents terrified.

Informal theories range from an angered sasquatch to extraterrestrials to intelligent hauntings.

I have heard of many folks describing unexplained sounds in forests.

Could we be witnessing a supernatural timeslip?

Or are we hearing the ghostly echoes of another realm?
