The Ghostly President At The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library And Museum | Virginia, Washington DC | Paranormal | Historical | Haunting | America | BoiCGH

Sometimes, moments and memories remain, like tracks through the snows of time.

Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum is located along the prestigious Embassy Row, in Washington DC, and was once home to 28th US President Thomas Woodrow Wilson and his wife Edith.

Wilson negotiated the passage of the Federal Reserve Act thereby created the Federal Reserve System. At the outbreak of World War I in 1914, the U.S. declared neutrality as Wilson tried to negotiate peace between Central and Allied powers.

In 1921 after departing Office, the Wilsons moved their belongings from the White House, and settled into a new life within the Woodrow home.

Sadly their fate would be shortlived when, on November 19th 1924, Wilson addressed the nation for the very last time. Later that night he passed away in his bedroom at the home.

The property later became owned by the National Trust who opened it to the public as a library and museum.

In 1964 the home was designated a National Historic landmark.

The museum today features much of the original furnishings, artefacts and memorabilia and there are guided tours available.

However, this location is known for its unexplained phenomena and believed to be haunted by patrons of its past.

Visitors have sighted objects levitating unaided and the audible sounds of a walking cane stomping across floorboards.

President Wilson utilized a cane during the last year of his life after suffering a stroke, and visitors have sighted his full spectrum apparition, with the left hand side of his face appearing to be drooped down, with a cane firmly in his hand. This apparition proceeds to walk through solid surfaces and walls.

Also encountered are creepy disembodied whisperings and lights unexplainably activating.

Phenomena became so intensely prevalent that, during 1999, a caretaker actually quit his job claiming he was ‘too terrified to come into work’ and ‘could not go on any longer working here’.

Have you ever witnessed a ghost/apparition/entity or something you could not rationally explain?
